    But his point was basically that the freshman class aint been rappin long but they being placed on the same platform, under the same lights- it may even be larger now cos of the internets (c) G7- that their predecessors only reached after years and years of honing their craft

    But isn’t that the nature of today’s society? People don’t want to wait for anything…and MC’s have 2 drop mixtapes left and right OR leaks to stay relevant. Even R&B dudes are droppin mixtapes now…when did that start (Trey Songz 5/25 baby!) ?
    But I do agree with the sentiment because some of these dudes are soo young that I don’t see what they will be rhyming about after their debut album.
