    to tell you the truth now is the only time i can wholeheartedly co-sign this guy… had i said anything over the line before people would have cried their little eyes out. now that he has a crazy following (albeit, of girls) it’s starting to make sense

    Eng you should definitely listen to this guy’s stuff, he goes in. even chea, the biggest hater on the planet, told me he can’t believe how good this kid’s music is. and that’s after insulting and refusing to listen. just listen (no Musiq Souldchild)

    Drake’s nice, but he just had the good fortune to be coming out when his style is essentially just him meshing the styles of the two biggest rappers out (Wayne & Ye)…..he’ll end up like everyone else who drops the popular mixtape that everyone jocks, he’ll eventually get signed, be on the shelf for god knows how long, and then when he finally drops an album, all his Stans/fans will just complain that the album wasn’t So Far Gone, just like how every Wale fan will say Attention Deficit isn’t The Mixtape About Nothing, every Cudi fan will say Man On The Moon isn’t A Kid Named Cudi, and so on and so forth

    It’s easy to know what’s up, all it requires is listening to music without a preconceived notion in your head……I had heard Drake’s music before So Far Gone dropped and he has real spit ability, but unless record companies actually start dropping albums while the artists’ buzz is actually high, I don’t see all that bright of a future for him….it’s just crazy to me, because I knew whatever movement the rap game took next would be crazy after everyone collectively revolted against the Shady/Aftermath regime, but to think that 3 of the biggest names out right now also moonlight as singers is 7:30 to me

    I remember when I first stumbled upon the GOAT’s discography. I was steady listening to only Wu-Tang, EPMD, Keith Murray and maybe some Outkast or suttin at the time and my man (n) put me up on Biggie. I swear down I stayed holed up listening to Ready To Die and blazing zoots for about 3 days straight. Profound moment.
