    I’m going on the record to say..Dre beats are wack now! PERIOD! I dont care what he did 10 yrs ago..im talking abt today in this climate..them shits is wack…and he hasn’t grown!

    See this is a point i had to make to a youngster recently…Timbo is better than Dre..of course the kid get’s hyped up…”you buggin NWA, Snoop, 50, Em”
    I said yes..his legecy is damn near second to none in Hip-Hop…but I said he’s not consistent enough to match him up against the best producers of the last 10yrs or so. He simply doesn’t put out enough work to grade him on. We’ve seen Tim rise, fall and get wack and RISE AGAIN crazy…and Tim’s sound is more diverse..he can do Pop, R&B and Rock…Dre is straight Hip-hop…
    The best way i can put this argument is Ali and Marciano…yeah Marciano retired undeafeated, but he didnt fight anyone…we saw Ali rise, fall and rise again..testing his mettle and thus making him the GOAT!

    Dre needs to make (or find someone to make) tracks like the Topless record…that’s a good look for him…the same synths and drums aren’t moving me..and I’m Old skool dude and fan…

    I couldn’t agree with stantheman more. The last crazy ill Dre beat i heard was Mobb Deep/50 Outta Control Remix and that was probably produced by one of Dre’s many ghost producers so it’s not like you can even give him full credit anyway. Premier and Pete Rock are the greatest simply because of their legacy and the fact that they have never used ghost producers. Sorry Dre get back to the drawing boards.

    I liked 3 AM a little but the other two joints are terrible…I was excited for a new Em album but my expectations have been dampened. Other than his mom, drugs or him dressing up and killing people he really has nothing to say; or atleast chooses not to say anything other than that. Huge talent but never put out that classic album he could have. It’s like his mind never grew up to adult issues. Relapse won’t be listenable. Corny

    FINALLY a song i’m diggin. I couldn’t stand 3 A.M. or the other singles. But this kinda sounds like the Em I’m used to. I think it’s the Eminem Sweedish accent that really throws off my liking of his new music. Plus it’s the lyrics and beats. But I got nothin bad to say bout this. It reminds me of the first Eminem Single that let’s you know he’s back (My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, & Forgot about me) Anyways, I really hope the rest of the cd is not as bad and different like I think it is. I really wish I could tell Eminem the truth about his music right now. He’s such a rap star that everybodies scared to tell him the truth about his music. But some critisizm couldn’t hurt nobody. Anyways dope song, keep up the good work. As for the Eminem fans that think 3 A.M. is very lyrical, please relisten to his first 4 albums and get back at me.
