I’m probably the only one that’s gonna say this but I just can’t get into Eminem’s voice/style/lyrical content on this and all the other songs i’ve heard on RELAPSE. Just really disappointed. His music from Infinite to The Eminem Show have been A+. I wouldn’t have changed anything in any of those but after The Eminem Show….. so disappointing. It’s sucha different vibe from Em from his interviews , music, & music videos. Overall theres no way I’m gonna buy this cd. There is no credible argument can be made that is properly substantiated against the lyrical capacity of Eminem. The man still has it and hes still a beast. I don’t understand how anyone can not think this is a quality single from a technical aspect. I can understand some people, not liking it for moral reasons or bitching about the tiny bit of accent he uses to convey being demented but outside of that – he goes IN on this. The flow and imagery are literally great. The video was very well executed too.

I can understand some people not liking We Made You. Its poppy, he uses a strong accent on the first verse, its subpar for his talent level, etc. But this is crack. 3am has been very well received by most people and its just a story-telling song to boot. Its not really a “go hard” all out lyrical song, so you know there will be songs on the album that are even harder than this. But hey, if you don’t like it you don’t like it. To each his own. But some people are just plain haters. If you already say the album is garbage when its about 20 songs long and hasn’t even been released yet your just a hater.

There’s nothing in this video that wasn’t already implied by lines like “a blood stain is orange after you wash it 3 or 4 times in the tub but that’s just normal, ain’t it Norman?”. It just doesn’t have any of the humor, social commentary, or autobiographical shit like “Kill You” did. That’s REGRESSING — making a dumbed-down version of something you did in the past.

Nigga wtf is wrong with some of you niggas? Get a clue about lyricism and real Hip Hop. Most people think this single is piff. On We Made You, only the first verse has a heavy accent. The second and third verses ARE his real voice lol. And this accent is the same as any other Slim Shady song, hes just older and its been a while so he sounds different. I don’t know how he could have executed this concept any better. The first verse is absolutely flawless – shit is amazing. The way he spits on this song, Im Having A Relapse Freestyle, even the poppy We Made You, leads me to believe this album will be nothing less than great.

Most of the rappers you dudes waste all of your time discussing are mediocre or even garbage emcees who have the same garbage content and subject matter on every song. So idk where you find the ordacity to make some of the comments yall do. Em would have sold millions of records regardless of color and he would still be the best to ever do it. His talent was undeniable. That is the reason he blew up. And he did “put on for his city” and countless “blacks”. But who gives a fuck about race? We have a black president now. That doesn’t mean all racism is over or that racial tribulations have disappeared. But it does mean you have to get off Eminems dick and stop hating the man soley based on his skin color. You should kill yourselves if you still have that self-pitying delusional mentality. Blacks aren’t the only minorities that face serious adversity. K heres the reality

1. the flow is tight, his flow is still tight and hes been playing that “look at me im so crazy” shit for a long time so even though the video is pretty fucked up and the media will dance on him, he does this to draw attention. but you can argue over whether there is a point to it …its like the movie hostel over a mediocre beat
2. i always look forward to what Em puts out, most mainstream rap is weak, money rhymes overtop of overproduced and boring as fuck beats. He has always done something worth listening to. But the first two singles off this album fucking blow
3.If you just digest whatever shit he puts out there without realizing when your being sold a turd, your not a fan. It doesnt make you an asshole or “hater” to call on lame, weak shit. ..so dont even go down that road because people dislike this shit.
4. who cares if his voice changed, artists grow but the hook on this song is almost laughable…and when you know someone cares so much about their image and career its almost insulting when they put out shit your sure they know is weak.
5. Eminem is still an amazing rapper and artist and i love the fact he pokes american culture to the point it pisses people off and he has broken down and subsequently put up walls in the hip hop community but i wont accept sub par songs…….

and does anyone else think the production on this shit is the weakest hes ever worked over? DRE and him have been sitting ontop of their ego cloud for too long its time for someone knew to claim the throne
