It was said that 50 is going to take Ross’ moniker from him financing the legal proceedings for Freeway Ricky Ross since he is coming home soon. Freeway Rick and Young Buck have been hanging out as of late so that’s an interesting piece to the puzzle. Tia’s Diary is coming out so that’s another one in Fif’s W column.
Eminem’s latest efforts don’t do anything for me personally but all of his diss records were crack; all of them so I have no choice but to believe all of this is preparation to build anticipation for Ross’ second album. I think Khaled and Ross built all of this around DTR..they made Mafia Music..completed DTR which is built around attacking 50. This was a chess move b/c A LOT of ppl don’t like 50 b/c he’s the game’s BULLY and they don’t share the same fanbase. Most ppl who like 50 don’t listen to Ross and vice versa. He picked his time to strike like he said and now he’s trying to bait Eminem so that he can push his next project and hopes that will propel him even higher in popularity.
This is definitely a mistake b/c Em will slice him wayyy worse than 50 b/c he can actually do it. G-Unit/50/Em stans will love this…only problem is Ross has already dropped a classic album (IMO) and has garnered the interest of the public. No matter what Fif or Em does I can’t see Ross losing his CORE fanbase. I think they WILL succeed somewhat in fucking his life up, but taking his rap name and releasing a book that Ross’ fans won’t give a fuck about doesn’t mean shit. It won’t stop sales, won’t alienate Ross fans and it will only help Team Shady/G-Unit fans sleep easier at night. Ross could be “C.O. Roberts”…the word from most critics nationwide is that DTR is a classic record..and nothing can take that away.
With all of that said I see Whoo Kid and dantheman have been collabing with Gucci…smart move Fif..get the next hottest southern ninja to cosign you. Gucci is being used in this situation (hopefully it will be mutualistically beneficial but I doubt Gucci’s status uptop can be raised any higher..)..Whoo Kid and 50 hate the south, southern music, and all it stands for but drastic times call for drastic measures!
