HOW ARE THESE NIGGAS FAILURES???? they are all 4 to 5 years into their careers. Cuz they aint STARS?? GTFOH. GOD ONLY MADE A FEW STARS. IF YOU CAN BE IN THE LEAGUE 5 to 8 years you win over 95% of the population
^^^^
How are these dudes riding the bench NOT failures? You come out of the high school, straight into the league because you feel that your talent is far superior than those in college ball. But once you hit the league, you’re only averaging 6 and 4? That ain’t successful. In that time, they could have played college ball, got significant minutes, come out of college and quite possibly have a better outcome than being the 9th-12th guy on the bench.
If anything, this is an example of how Black people have lost in their thinking of what it means to be successful. Basketball ain’t it, people. Grow some balls, go to school, get a job. What happens when the hoop dreams ain’t there anymore? Blame Whitey? Fuck outta here with that shit.

Drake and Big Sean do have similarities Fux.
Upon listening to that mixtape i’ve noticed that Kanye uses pieces of all his artist styles and delivery. He’s an amalgamation of his G.O.O.D. Music imprint magnified with his assertion of his own skill set. Most of those kids are just happy to be on a winning team so I doubt they care.
April 23rd, 2009 at 12:46 pm
12th man is making more money then most & has a valuable in to the NBA. Once you’re in there & you’re smart enough, you can manuver into another career besides being a player.
Making it to the league is success when 90% of college ballers don’t get drafted.

Green was young, walker was washed up, pierce was not yet rejuvinated the way he is now and last season and ricky davis is a selfish baller who isn’t that nice. That wasn’t telfair’s fault that the lineup sucked. Put him back there now though with the team that they have and see if you won’t say different.

^CiCi, thats bullshit. They would have probably went to college and missed out on years of playing and getting paid. Maybe he reached his peak and this is as nice as he’ll get. But so what. The 12th man on the bench of any NBA team is 9 times out of 10 better than the best player on most college basketball teams.
