Audio: Eminem Interview w/ Angela Yee

Angela Yee grills Em about his new album and just about everything else you may have been wondering about Marshall. YN live blogged the whole interview if you can’t listen.
A couple of highlights:
They’re trying to avoid bootleggin, only Em and Dre have copies of the album.
Em would work with Wayne.
Em fucks with T.I. and Kanye.
Em picked tracks that challenged him, and every flow is different
Only Dre & Curtis cameos
3 AM (next single) is on a different vibe
Em is in a movie shot last year, coming out this summer
Em vs. Angela Yee Pt. 1 | Em vs. Angela Yee Pt. 2 | Em vs. Angela Yee Pt. 3 | Em vs. Angela Yee Pt. 4
Props to RapRadar for the audio. “3 AM” should be leaking shortly…

***Ionno about this decision, lol…
Jeremy Tyler has decided to forgo his senior year of high school and turn pro.
Yes, high school.
This isn’t some sign of the sporting apocalypse or a teenager with an overvalued sense of worth. It’s a daring, trailblazing yet well-thought-out move that challenges the bizarre way America develops amateur basketball players.
Tyler is an agile 6-11, 260-pound San Diego native, the nation’s top player in the junior class who already committed to the University of Louisville. He’s as close to a can’t-miss NBA prospect as there is; a tantalizing mix of size, speed and smarts. Scouts project him to be the No. 1 pick in the 2011 draft, when he’s eligible under the NBA’s age requirements.
In the meantime, Jeremy Tyler’s options were to:
1. Spend the next year at his local school, San Diego High, where he faces quadruple teams and isn’t experiencing much development; or
2. Transfer to a basketball factory in some rural outpost back East which has a big-time team but resembles a traditional high school in name only; and then
3. Play college ball for a few months dealing with NCAA limitations on practice time and coaching contact while competing against many of the same guys he has the last few years.
All for free, of course.
“I know I can do great things with my talent. My goal in life is to get better. Playing with the pro guys will get me a lot better faster. It will help me fulfill my dreams of playing in the NBA.”
– Jeremy Tyler
Instead Jeremy and his father, James, who owns his own home improvement company and is about to open a family restaurant, surveyed the traditional route, decided it made little sense, and went looking for a new plan. They called retired sneaker executive and hoops deal maker Sonny Vaccaro and plotted a course for Europe.

His reasoning why though is stupid. His pops was like “Lebron blossomed, Dwight blossomed, Kobe blossomed” and that’s the reason why his son should skip his senior year of high school. But for every Kobe, Dwight and LeBron and KG, there’s a Johnathon Bender, Darius Miles, and Kwame Brown.

Calling an album classic when it just came out makes no sense, you don’t know an album is classic until you pop it in a few years later and realize you still fuck with all the same tracks that you did the first time you listened to it, usually with a classic LP, you also end up feeling the tracks you thought were wack on first listen……Paper Trail will never be classic, the 3 softbatch singles killed that

I like the eminem show more than the MMLP too, I see why ninjas call the 2nd album a classic, but overall it’s not better than the eminem show

mmlp is the third album not the second

We are the streets is overated, the good songs are just so good that it makes the overall album better than what it really is, towards the end of the album it gets kinda wacktacular & sheek solo is beyond butt
April 23rd, 2009 at 12:41 pm
I know, read it again

^ sorta agrees but you mean the last track and Sheeks joint was why. But overall, that album is > some of these albums that are being mention

Gerald green
Antoine walker (when he was nice)
Paul pierce
Rick davis

^Are you fucking kidding me… You could put chris paul on that team at that time and even he couldn’t help that squad. Green was young, walker was washed up, pierce was not yet rejuvinated the way he is now and last season and ricky davis is a selfish baller who isn’t that nice. That wasn’t telfair’s fault that the lineup sucked. Put him back there now though with the team that they have and see if you won’t say different.
April 23rd, 2009 at 1:06 pm
Co sign geronimo. That squd around telfair was trash. Walker took way to many 3s. Ricky davis is aweful. Pierce was streaky and gerald green was just hitting puberty. Telfair had a pretty good year in minn. i look for him to have a nice season in 2010.
As for the shady interview. Ya boy is baaaack. 3am? when can we hear it?
