    also whats your time horizon? Is this a 5yr investment, 3yr, 1yr, 6mos, 1mo…how long do you want to park your money?

    Unless your doing some SERIOUS due dilligence than picking individual stocks in india would be extremely difficult. If your buying a fund that buys indian stocks, than you are basically betting on a basket of stocks which will most likely replicate the performance of its overall economy.

    India I feel like is better poised that say a Chine (heavy manufacturing) or Brazil (heavy livestock/agriculture) to rebound from the current conditions. So long term, I like investments there.

    Short-term, I would say that if it has run-up 25% its probably due to pull back a litte…but its still lower than the past 3-5 years and might be a good time to jump in.

    on the strenth my friends are idiots lol. the ones at well-performing hedge funds know what they’re doing but i have other friends betting on currencies and individual securities where it’s basically like they’re at the craps table. straight up bets. i stay solidly with the S&P 500 ETFs, that’s my play and i’m working with it

    The real money would be finding small indian (or american for that matter) companies that you think were poised to grow and taking a flier on that. Much more risk, but end of day much more reward if your right.

    I got the new gig, how most people do. Not by hours and hours of personal leg work, but by knowing an employee there. I just walked in the door and the job was mine. After a year of all that other bullshit. smh
