Jadakiss: Oh aight, I didn’t know they was named Slaughterhouse but I like all of them before they even teamed up with each other. I’m supposed to be doing something with Royce but the timing of my promo tour and whenever he gotta hand in his project, I don’t know if it’s gonna conflict.. But I like Slaughterhouse, they’re definitely on the come up. They’re definitely artists that faced some of the same adversities that we had to face.
Jessie Maguire: How far are you into the LOX album?
Jadakiss: We’re trying to make it like an NWA album, no radio songs. Maybe one, if that. New LOX Order is the name of it. We’re probably like 6-7 songs deep. But you gotta get The Last Kiss album first, April 7th, then you get the D-Block compilation, then you get the new LOX album. But you can’t get none of them if you don’t get my album. If you don’t buy my album, they won’t even sell you the other two.

Jadakiss: Well, I have my site coming up, HipHopSole, which will be based on all types of stuff. New sneakers, new music, new images and music from me that I will be putting up there. I had my staff take a class on how to upload stuff to the net, as quickly as we get it. I’m taking it serious, I’m not playing with this. I read Kanye’s blog, I go on Thisis50, I go on Pharrell’s joint, Nah Right, Bossip. I check all of them everyday. The laptop is apart of our entourage, whoever leaves it, they have to go home. The laptop has to be there like the wallet.

When artists come down on promo tours, they always hit up the commercial stations so I have to work extra hard to get that time in for an interview with my station (we are college radio but also BDS, best of both worlds for programing, just not so good when trying to land big artists for interviews, but somehow, I manage :)). Usually, the interviews are at weird locations and weird times, this one is no different. You can tell Jada was maaaaaadddd tired after traveling and promoting all day, but I appreciate the sit down and I think he does too because now he knows who Slaughterhouse is… lol.
