38K ,thats no bad at all… mwaaaaaaaa!!!!! Jimmy flopped, but yo, KILLA doesn’t have a hit song right now on tv like Jimmy, so in all likely hood, killa gonna do less than that…. Shiiiet, see Jimmy, it was better when everybody was under Cam wing, atleast the were a good team than individuals and all got bread, never mind Cam made more than everybody.. This nigga still gotta pay back the record label their advance and shit. He won’t sell over 100 000 with this album coz next week sales is gonna be less than half of this…

See Jimmy, u ain’t shit without Cam boy boy, That nigga not no star. Everybody knew he didn’t have it in him to appeal outside of the Dipset fans like Cam COULD. LMAO…

This nigga got outta touch with reality when he had BAllin gettin serious spins and billboard topping and the Hustlers P.O.M.E did reasonably well, and thought he was actually a star.. Niggas bought that shit coz of the Cam affiliation.. Jimmy Lost

Keri Hilson’s, “In A Perfect World,” debuts with a decent 94k, while Jim Jones first week sales for, “Pray IV Reign,” are a disappointing 38k.

Have it ever been a time your eating out & it’s mainly white people & it’s 1 other group of blacks & there being as ignorant as possible & you think “damn, why these niggas gotta act like they aint got no home training? IMO black people are the only people that thinks one person speaks for all of us, which is far fom the truth, we think what that one person does, all of the other races thinks that’s what we are all like, as stupid asounds, people really think like tat, I have at one point, but not no more, you never see white people like “look at jim carey, he’s making us look bad, I literally neer heard any other race say that, it really bothers me, it’s like we’re racist against ourselves, has anyone else noticed this before?

Absoulutely, but its just a product of being the oppressed minority in a racist society. Since the total of the race is on the bottom, there’s a sense that “we’re all in this together”, hence our feeling that one of our bad apples spoils the bunch.

But also, there is some lingering slave mentality going on to, like “dont do that in front of massa, he think u stupid!”.

Another reason i’m glad i’m back on NR is to finally give lebron his just due, he’s finally playing like I always thought he was suppose to play, attacking the basket, taking less jumpers, controlling the game when needed, etc. Now the problem I had with lebron, I have with my man, carmelo, he just doesn’t seem focused sometimes, like he’s just there, like he can give you 40pts 10reb 6 ast on a monday, tuesday he’s 7 for 29, no boards. He needs to use his god given talent to the maximum every night out. I still think melo hasn’t reached his his pinnicle as a baller, he’s only 24, but he could be doing alot better.

To Asher’s credit, that’s an old track. And compared to recent joints, its seems like he’s making a concisous effort to not sound like Em as much as he can, which is commendable.

I can’t shake the feeling that his album is going to be dope.

LOL, speaking of The Game, what happened? The Documentary’s one of the illest recent debut hiphop albums, Doctor’s Advocate proved he could make an album just as dope by himself, and then LAX dropped, and shit was completely aimless and uninspired. I can’t call it.

***Yeah, I read that it was the track he got signed with, so maybe he’s evolving as an artist…but as far as the Em comparisons go, duke is almost like if another gravelly voiced nigga was barking on wax, over a chaotic, overinstrumented (is that a word) Swizz Beatz casio track, and said he wasn’t trying to sound like DMX

That’s not a bad theory. If that’s not the case, then someone in his family is related to/is close personal friends with someone Steve Rifkind knows. Alot people appear to be overnite sensations when that’s really not the case, it looks like Asher Roth really did come out of nowhere.

Alot of that has to do with Nas being an underdog tho. Jay’s always been on top, so it would seem more like dickriding if Jay got the same level of props from his peers. Nas is relatively humble (and always fucking up musically), so in a backwards way that makes it easier for cats to give him props.
