DIRTY JAX PRESENTS THE BEST OF STAN IPCUS is my latest project, featuring new songs and remixes (shout out to Large Professor!), recent leaks, on air radio appearances (Hot 97, The Halftime Show), favorites from my last three releases, and even a live throwback from my College Park days. Dirty Jax, who designed the cover, is a streetwear clothing brand worn by Diddy, Cipha Sounds, and many other industry tastemakers. In addition to the mixtape, I posted on my blog WESTCHEDDAR.COM, my entire discography of mixtapes and albums, a decade in the making, dating back to my first studio recording in 1999 when I was a junior at the University of Maryland. Also included in the post is a collection of unreleased songs I call THE FUZZY PHLEGM GEM FILES. Together, this is a wealth of material I am putting out and re-releasing to celebrate my ten years of recording hip hop music. This collection proves that Stan Ipcus was one of the original hip hop artists to represent the white New York suburban and out of state college campus hip hop experience. david lee is a good ballplayer… nothing special, but he is a quality offensive role player and rebounder, who plays ZERO defense and can often be a stumbling bumbling turnover machine, in the 4th quarter … some of the NY media, broadcasters and fans, have greater delusions of grandeur for the kid though …

–I heard 30secs of it and Xd out. It seems that everything stan ipcus does , is to get him exposure.
For example; the twitter song, Dissing asher roth with no apparent beef, Rapping about ferris buehlers and youtubing it, Making a promo freestyle for ciph and rosenberg. All dope marketing tools but they feel so contrived and douche baggy that its not worth the effort to look for him.

After reading the comments, I ask myself: what about the music? Listen to the music! Comment on the music! The music is what its all about. The exterior marketing/packaging seems to be people’s number one concern…why? Can anyone explain why out of all these comments not one person has said one thing about the music?
I was involved with some of the productions on this mixtape…so that is a disclaimer…so call me biased. Because I am. I think Ipcus says how he feels and is honest in his music. Which is what is missing from a lot of genres of music I hear.
So all I would ask is that people actually give the music a listen and if you think something is wrong with the music, or something is good about the music, let us know.
Commenting on how people dress doesn’t help anyone. Unless you want to get into fashion. If so, go for it. Thanks in advance.
