Video: Asher Roth – Lark On My Go Kart (Live)

Live at a little music festival they had down in Texas a couple of weeks back, I forget the name. We already posted a clip of him doing this song down there courtesy of YN, but the sound on this is a little better and it has some extra camera angles, etc.

The hate in this room is palatable.

^so far, it’s just me and you (lurkers don’t count)…so what you saying?

Lets be real to myself and just everybody in general. Nobody listens to Charles Hamilton and enjoys it.

    ^^

lol. I do sometimes. I just think he is a little oversaturated & that’s why he gets so much hate. If instead of releasing 15 mixtapes in 4 months he did 2, people would think about it. Not sayin he is the best, but he’s a decent rapper IMO.

Yo Seth do you go for instance “I want to listen to some Charles Hamilton right now” ? or do you stumble upon his shit and not skip it?

I do. Any other time I’d skip his stuff, but if I’m in the mood for some emo rap, The Hamiltization Process is a quick fix.

Plus, dude’s production rarely misses, even if I don’t dig the verses.

So is 37,000 a flop for jim.

*waits for eskay to put the numbers in perspective*

LOL. usually when he drops something new I check it out and think “this is cool, but this one is meh”. I don’t go out of my way to listen to his shit over and over again. He gets superficial play because of the oversaturation.

If I pick something out to ride with it’s either CuDI or B.o.B. as far as new kids go.

Would be Wale & Jay elec too, but they barely drop tracks anymore.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a flop, but it’s not good for an artist who’s on a major who had the visibility that Jim has had for the past 2 months or so.

Jim probably needed to be around 80k, IMO.
