When all is said is done, Slim Shady LP is his best album, with the Eminem show close behind. All those boy band/pop music references on MM just sound corny and dated now. And as much props as it got at the time, alot of the production is kind of dreary and dull in retrospect.

RD, while clearly made in ‘96, is none the worse for wear.

I think the Mary joint and the current single are weak. The Avery Storm joint is weak, as is Rocking with the Best. No real creative leaps forward in any direction. I’m not saying its wack, but from one listen, there’s definetly some things wrong with it.

While RD is dated the content can be related to other things(husters in general with the concepts he used) & the context was perfect for that time. It just holds up well despite the fact that I know its old.
