Crooked I finally addressed the issue by calling in to DJ Vlad of VladTV.com, updating everyone on his condition.
“I’m good. Physically, I’m good. I’m kinda in a fucked place right now. But physically, I’m good,” he said, indicating that there was some sort of incident, but providing no details.
DJ Vlad asked the rapper if he wanted to elaborate on the situation, to which Crooked simply replied, “Some crazy shit just went on. I was just at the wrong place, wrong time type of shit. Right now, I’m just trying to get to the bottom of it because when shit like that pops off, it’s kinda better to just leave it where it happens, you know?
“I’m good. I’m straight. I don’t want nobody getting no fame off of nothing, bringing negativity towards me. I’m good,” he concluded.

This is strictly my personal opinion, if he wouldn’t have put out Halfway House and kept the original track list for PR it would have been a classic. Theres like 3 or 4 songs off HH that are retarded that i remember seeing on the PR track list from various website music reviews for PR. Just saying.

I dont see why being on a major is a such a big deal nowadays. You don’t get an official release date, if you do it gets pushed and pushed until your recent work becomes outdated, if you want to get on someone hit single the label won’t ok your feature due to some inside contract negotiations between the labels that has nothing to do with you.
Atleast with an indie you’ll get your material released and those who are on the music scene will know that your music is out.

Nah being on a Major still has it perks. Look @ TI for instance, Just Blaze just gave him a smash hit for Paper Trail that he probably wouldn’t of paid for out his pocket. Also you will still get better promotion depending on who you are.
