It just dawned on me that the concept behind “Streets on Fire” is about the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
His story telling/concepts/flow/wordplay are bar none.
I really admire his artistry and I’m glad that he’s finally getting his just dues in the game. Lupe is very much needed in the music industry.
And the only reason why he isn’t super duper star status right now (Wayne, Kanye, TIP etc.) is simply because he hates the business side and wants to get out.
