How is swag a bad word? It’s basically like saying you’re fly, fresh, dope. Rakim and all them used “fresh” words. LL cool J was saying words that had the same meaning of swag.

the meaning of swag have ALWAYS been in existence of hip-hop, its just different words are used for the same meaning. Hate the meaning not the word, because there will be another word that hip-hop heads will hate. Most hip-hop heads like swagger which is why their favorite rappers lack swag except for Jay-z who made the word popular. Blame Jay-z.

True, but I even felt mobb deep had swagger as in using the definition in today’s standards. Their untied timbo boots, dirty tees, and unkempt hair had a lotta niggas rocking that look and still getting broads. It was just a more manly swagger back then.

I had forgot you had a blog, and me saying hip-hop heads look like and dress like bloggers wasn’t a diss. It was basically saying they have a traditional way of dressing. It wasn’t to say they were lame. One cat above even explained that you got your casual hip-hop heads and your deep hip-hop heads. This was not a personal shot at you. It was just a statement made out of extensive observation that I have done. You can agree or disagree.

Me telling you to look in the mirror was just a jab cause of your constant questioning, like how socrates did in his methods. I felt as if you were trying to be smug with those questions. Maybe it was just miscommunication. either way I aint tripping
