I meant as far as promotion…and no shots but you must have slept on the wrong side of the bed if you think Hustlin and Boss > Hero, i used the nas comparison bcuz untitled was an amzing album and it had a good 1st single and didnt sell as much as it should have (in my opinion), but mafia music and magnificent wont get tht much promotion or spins in the east coast, shame though cause magnificent is heatrock

There’s really no concrete denotation but sometimes I get a lil’ frustrated with it too. That Weezy jump was definitely cooning. I say so because he was so proud to receive an award from a white organization that ultimately means nothin’ in the end. And Paul Mooney had a valid point when he said Martin was funny as hell although his show had some cooning in it.

I can’t speak for everyone but I often deem it cooning when I see us doing anything to get ahead while THEY capitalize off our sweat. All the lil’ dances have been going on for years so I don’t see a problem with it. For kids, by kids (even the Aunt Jackie that was started as a Rucker thing). I also noticed that any comedian/comedic actor who excels in physical comedy is also considered a buffoon/coon without justification. I like talkin’ about this subject though because I really wanna hear some different opinions on it.

I lived in Virginia for a year, I lived in Lake Edward and then VA beach by Pembroke…I used to play ball with FAMLAY at the rec center.

I could be wrong, but I’d be willing to bet money that those arent official singles for Ross’ new album. More just “street” singles. When there’s video on 106 and Park with a Cool and Dre/Runners beat with a screwed/sung hook, it’s his single.

As far as singles go, so I don’t really get the Nas comparison or what Hero being in Hulk has to do with it. It’s not like people associated the film with the song on some Dangerous Minds/Gangta Paradise tip.
