Jadakiss Interview w/ Complex
The homey Joe LaPuma over at Complex recently caught up with Kiss and quizzed him on his new album, the vibe over at Def Jam, his Letter to Big, Curtis, tight pants and more.
Complex: Your “top 5 dead or alive” line always gets referenced when people are arguing about their favorite MCs. Who are your top five favorite New York rappers under the age of 30 right now?
Jadakiss: Out of the new up and coming niggas that I know about? I like Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi. I like Red Café, even though I don’t know his age. As far as New York right now, Fabolous, Red Café, Maino, Uncle Murda. Everybody coming up, I will do songs with all of them. I know it’s hard for them to reach out to the higher type of artist, so I show all of them love and do a song with them, just to let them know I’m feeling them.
He also lists a bunch of websites he checks for, Nah Right being one of them, but you already knew that.

College story:
So This little bookie dude was cracker/fake italian. I used to make bets with him all the time , little 20 50dollar shits. One day towards the end of the spring semester, I make a bet, Parlay’d two jawns the points and the over on two games …so I make a hundred dollar bet to win 500hunnity. This nigga didnt come back to school and disappeared when I tried to collect. I see him in the summer downtown Tempe at the club and I told my Cuzzo (a big fat Palestinian Goon) the story ….my cuzzo goes grabs him by the neck(the dude was with a chick and she was in horror) reaches into his pockets pulls out a couple bucks and slaps the shit out of him, comes back over and gives me the money, it was like 40dollars or some shit. And then we proceed to drink our beers like nothing happened. All My Muslim Cousins go in with bitches beer and the Americana ……. smh the Koran’s hold is falling off
