Lost is like twitter its popularity is based more on “if you dont watch it your a douche” than the actual content. How long can they drag out that disaster.
…… while I do agree the twitterenrs fell and act that way I think it’s more like if you twitter your a douche, if you don’t watch Lost it’s your perrogative (c) Bobby Brown but I would by no means say your a douche I would just say you are depriving yourself of an epic groundbreaking TV show that will constantly have you on the edge of your seat in amazement and especially since the end of season 3 till now every new show leaves you more and more impressed, by no means would I say your a douche, maybe you don’t like TV that much, maybe you don’t like a lot of sci-fi shit ( even thought I usually hate sci-fi shit ) or maybe you like to know exactly what is going on at all times and don’t like to let your imagination run wild if any of those things describe you then I can not blame you for not watching he show, now the people who have tried to watch 2 or 3 episodes in the middle of the series and then say it sucks are douches because obviously there is no way they can begin to understand what it going on and will by nature hate it, but beyond everything great I say about the show the acting is probably the best and most natural since the The Wire the banter jokes and tension cutting humor and sarcasm used unparralled by anything else and the plot twists and whose real trying to do good and whose really bad ( the mystery affect ) all make it the best show ever but if you have never watched it I would not call you a douche I just feel you are depriving yourself of hours and hours of amazing entertainment …

^Etta needs to let that go. The fact that Beyonce has redone her song has introduced her to an entire generation that probably knew nothing about her. She should embrace the fact that Bey chose her song to sing instead of Halo or one of her other songs.
***Nah…there’s not way she sees it like that- you’re acting like she has an extensive catalog- Aretha Franklin would act the same way if somebody hijacked “Respect”…why does she give a fuck about a new generation embracing her song, if they think it’s a Beyonce tune? “At Last” is so recognized, that it’s pretty much a standard at this point….plus, you gotta understand that older artists aren’t necessarily gracious about passing the torch, much less their material….

I’m more inclined to believe that it was organizers desision for Bey to do the song. Even given the event, I can’t see Bey or her people missing a chance to perform her new single.
Just to add, I’m 100% with Etta on this one.
^I think both…B has been singing that song every chance she gets and I bet her people wanted her to sing it because it was fitting…AT LAST! We finally have a black president! LOL! Maybe it should’ve been a duet or B needs to give a spill about how much respect she has for Etta before she sings the song…like a copyright disclaimer…

^Even more reason to disagree with Etta. If the organizers are the ones that chose the song, then you can’t be mad at B for singing it. I know that Etta couldn’t perform it, not at her age and her health condition.

^She is 71 and still doing shows…that’s where this quote/audio is coming from. Some show she did in Seattle. I guess that’s why she is so mad because she is still doing shows. Older women are funny…Aretha was heated with B not too long ago because she said Tina Turner was the Queen. I remember them being mad at Mary back in the day and now they all love her. I think B is being hazed into this society of Black Female R&B singers…LOL!

Good to hear Cam back & I thought it was a joke at 1st when I heard about him shooting his new video her in the CHI but I guess it was reality! Can’t wait for the video & new album though cause Cam already know he get a lot of respect from us here in the CHI! And when you have to take care of family that always comes 1st to so good to hear his moms is doing better to! I think this time off helped him a lot to cause he sound more like the Cam myself & a lot of other real hip-hop purists loved growing up with COC, COF, & SDE!
