The key component in Ja/50 wasnt the comedy or the diss records, it was the fact that 50 was dropping a near classic album and Ja was doing videos with Bobby Brown and re-making Grease.
Ether wouldnt have been half as impactful if Stillmatic wasnt such a strong album.
