The bottom line is that I dont think the number of discs the album contains will have any impact on its success. If the singles dope and the buzz is up, it will sell. If that’s not the case, it won’t. Just that simple.

Nah but foreal, it cost a triple to press 2 more disc, cost that we don’t exactly know about. Thats what i think niggas was talking about, like it might not benefit a label when his last joint went gold, not that i agree but that is the argument.

In all honesty, all the double discs I’ve copped as new releases (basically all the CD’s we mentioned above) were priced the same as the single disc new releases (maybe 2 to 3 dollars more at most). Which is to say, I don’t think there’s going to be a noticable price difference.
Now, will the album be marked back up to like 29.99 after a year or so? No doubt. But it won’t matter then.
