Now to comment on something that jrp14 said, I would never, at least at this point in time, compare Charles to Lupe, thats just absurd. Whoever is doing that must not understand the capacity of Lupe’s lyrical prowess. But on the topic, the vid was cool, this is what hiphop is, a cool battle, respect given at the end. The Pink Lava Lamp is steady on the playlist though, I’m looking forward to more from C-Ham.

Charles’ first round was whack, but the rest of his shit was pretty ill. He did NOT get murdered, he maybe lost…..by a little. What was Serius Jones saying that killed him? If anything it was an issue of who sounded more comfortable on the mic, and in that respect Charles lost. But that video right there should show people (if nothing else) that that kind of shit isn’t even what most people love his music for, and he STILL held his ground in Serius’ home court.

Tuesday recap
Eskay & co managed to create a Super Tuesday. It has everything from rap legends to battle legends.
The day started smooth wit
1.Evidence my one of my personal favorite la weed head/rappers at fat beatz I found this intresting cause fat beat is actually one my hip hop lover destination I plan on traveling to (but that another story )

2.Moving on Gucci Man made an appearance representing for the bammas who love nah. It dident feel like vintage Gucci though.

3.Jenny Boom made a interview Styles p. It’s always good to the see the ghost doing anything.he basically talking bout loyalty between the lox. Speaking of styles there a new styles p freestyle floating around on the jay z success instrumental. Best lines—

Wilder than a solider in Bangkok” vintage ghost I say so

4.On the Producing tip Exile came through wit a instrumental for the masses. Not that I dnt like Exile I think his beatz go hard but it’s a reason why this is not on his upcoming project. This instrumental seems too happy for my taste. I would have paid $ 90 paypal to see the expression on eskay face while posting this. Im sure this made him very much happy and I would had died laughing watching eskay smile…huh eskay smiling who ever think such a thing lol. 8.Juelz and weezy came through wit something. Its okay I guess. Its not I can’t feel my face status but good enough to get downloaded

9.Eskay came through wit more young nigganess with Jim Jones “I turn my swag on” the reason I mention this is just SB my lil nigga and I like acting immature singing that song in chicks faces

10There was a new u-n-I mixtape out. I downloaded but haven’t gotten the chance to listen to it yet im sure I will cause they usually got the crack if anyone heard it let me know what yall think. Also on the un tip. Black milk “dub rock” is straight crack it makes me feel lame for not getting that album neither.

11Eskay ended the night perfectly with a Ch post. You dnt have to take this as an official statement (but I suggest you do) that boy Charlie got his ass kicked by SJ. Its sad Ch gotta battle niggas to get nah love it just sad dnt you think. But ill let yall debate that for today.

CH is obviously talented but yes, he did lose here. What was interesting to see here was Jones’ laconic, self-assured flow, next to CH’s able, yet unrefined, overly verbose wordplay. Jones’ lines were pointed, direct, and stinging. CH’s were composed of so many words that it made the entire verse opaque and dull. It reminds me of when GZA said, “make it brief son, half short and twice strong.”

Charles Hamilton could use some Strunk & White.
