I was up in the studios where they film the O’Reilly Factor around the time of the election, and caught Bill-O bumming a smoke outside as I dipped out back to jump in the Maybach. BOSS.

Dude had something to prove I guess cuz next thing you know he’s puffing on this blunt like a damn junkie, staring at me straight in the eyes. Dude did not stop lookin’ at me as he damn near smoked half the blunt, exhaled hella-smoke and handed me the blunt back. He sits down on some steps as I blazed that shit. It looked like this wasn’t the first laced-blunt he’d smoked.
“You know, Rick” he mused…I stayed silent, watching dude as he loosened his tie.
“I don’t know if I can keep this up…all this….this right-wing shit. I DON’T KNOW WHO I AM ANYMORE!” he cried out. Looked like dude was finna start bawling there and then.
I stayed watching.

I sniggered and exhaled a thick puff of smoke.

Bill smiled and uttered one word in response: “BOSS”
Then he stood up and stuck out his fist for a pound, fixed his tie, turned away and went back inside.
I stood there alone as he walked off and thought about my life. I done came up so fast…music, endorsement, films, japanese denim with money stuffed in ‘em.
I nodded to myself and replied gently “BOSS” as I dipped into the Maybach.
