^Naw, not even. I mean I like Quinn don’t get me wrong, but he’s pretty old and lacks any real creative flair. Content wise he is sometimes decent, but hip-hop is evolving and he’s rehashing the same old stuff. A Boy to a Man was decent, but he’s not moving any units. The joint him and Keak just did has only sold 2,000 copies.
Some athletes can get pretty far on fundamentals and hard work, but lack natural athleticism. I think that shoe fits Quinn. Without that IT factor, he wont blow. Local legend? yes. Future of the Bay? naw

^^ Yeah FAB prolly does at this point. Hus is koo, but he’s been locked up for a while now. Unless he records an album from prison a la Mac Dre or Shyne, I dont see him doing much. I think FAB has the best shot because he travels and collaborates with so many dudes around the country.
Plus, though he gets knocked for being a hyphy rapper, dude can spit and is real smart. He is one of those dudes who shows all sides of himself in the tradition of Pac. His pops was a pimp and his moms was a Panther, so he got the game and the intelligence. I wasn’t a big fan, but he’s been growing on me of late.

Yeah FAB networks crazy. Most rappers from the Bay are content being Baymous, but FAB travels hella much. He was just out in NY last weekend and in the one weekend fucked with Max, Serious, XXL, etc. Plus just did that joint with Curren$y. He is also like the only dude trying to form a Cali alliance. HE is in LA heavy and grinding.
He is also always hanging out at youth centers in Oakland with the kids and coming out of pocket to buy them school supplies and shit. He can spit, but he’s a good dude generally.
