I just think I’m decent. I know people who are better than me. but I try to practice and let my imagination go crazy.

I used to try to rap, but I was better at art so I decided to try and say what I could with pictures what I would say with words.

Its all about taking the time to try it (none) and knowing that you’re gonna make mistakes. Like I try to turn my mistakes into part of the drawing so it always looks finished.

and instead of being a full fledged artist I design websites for my money. so I aint all that broke.

This year is a significant year for so many reasons so I’m gonna try my HARDEST to reach out. I just graduated but none of that has changed me. Hopefully they can see that I’m just an Afrocentric fly dude and that they can do BETTER than what I’m doing and still be cool and in tune with the streets.

I got a degree and will bump “Aggy” just as ignorantly out my whip as any other dude. I think that says a lot.

On another note, I think I’m gonna try to encourage young Black men to go to school for Political Science and eventually law school. Like Chappelle said, damn near every Black man can be a certified paralegal because we were raised in the system. And if not not us, then our fathers, uncles, friends, etc. We get reprimanded and (unfairly) punished by the law all the time so why not learn it? There are so many undiscovered loopholes, word to Papoose’s “Law Library” series (probably his best songs).

And shoutouts to Tracey Lee for graduating from law school.

She texted me a few days ago and said she found the money for tuition and already enrolled.

I don’t feel sorry for them, majority of people who grew up in the hood have family that was addicts of shit more than weed, why would you wanna go down the same road?

***True indeed…by all accounts, i should be in the system- grew up poor in the hood, ended up sleeping on relatives floors, to the streets to homeless shelters, pops fucked up a good career and was in the streets and died when I was young, etc…I looked at all of the negativity around me, and decided what I didn’t want to be—if you met me in person, you’d prolly have no idea how I came up (none)—everybody assumes I’m from Gaithersburg or some shit like that, lol….
