   Best performance in the movie? AZ. He conveyed a look of knowing, fear, and selfishness all wrapped in one in that two second scene in front of the barbershop.

   Method Man busting shots out the titty bar and then shooting at cops before getting in the get away car was a classic scene too. I always thought that part was ill

   smh at Tyrin Turner in the movie lol

    Exactly, and that’s what makes the movie so funny/ill. It’s crap shot like a masterpiece. With two engaging performances (DMX and Meth) in the center of a whole bunch of (entertaining) nonsense.

    And LOL @ the article in KING a couple months ago about it, where mad people involved were saying how big a deal Nas’ shitty acting was on set and how self-conscious he was about it.

    No doubt. That’s why the performance was so ill. The look on his face made it clear that he was making a split second descision in his head, about whether to warn his man, waste time and get caught in the crossfire, or make moves as quick as possible with his seed.

    It’s what the whole movie is about : Street’s vs. Family = Which do you choose?

    …. Deniro & Wesley Snipes had mad chemistry in that joint … im surprised neither one of them get more credit for that flick … i feel like im the only one who saw it … sports movies traditionally flop as major releases, i guess … but that joint was riveting suspense …

    Any Given Sunday is probably the greatest sports film EVER. I would put Hoop Dreams up there, but I’m not counting documentaries.
