Young Jeezy : The Most Important Rap Star of the 00’s

Even if you dont like his music, no mainstream hiphop artist has been this uncompromising into adhering to his lane than Ice Cube in his prime. His whole persona, southern, “I’m a hustler, not a rapper”, every song an epic rather than a piece needed to complete an album’s puzzle, sums up mainstream hiphop this decade more than anyone else.
