Who said hiphop is lacking creativity? It can’t be, not when we have cats like Juganot getting innovative and making anthems for the husters. That’s some shit the genre has barely touched on. This could be big (ll).

I try to not shit on songs before actually hearing them, so I just actually listened to this, cause who knows? Maybe my pre-judgement was just that, prejudice. Turns out it wasnt, my theory that anyone makingn a song called “The Hustler’s Song” in ‘09 that’s not being ironic is wack was 100% true. This sucks.

    ^^

I used to like Trap Musik better, but I gotta agree. It holds up better than his others. I think it could be mentioned in that argument. I’d have to really think about it to see if it deserves it though.

  19. b-ease Says:

T.I.’s urban legend is one of the best rap albums of the 2K.

    ^^
It could be. I think it’s definetly his best album (I never got what was so dope about Trap Music), but I guess it depends on how many albums are on this best-of list. Top 10 of the 2K? Naw. Top 20? Maybe. Top 40. Definetly.

    ^^
I think everyone knows that tho. We couldnt look back on the Golden Age if it was still going on. Doesnt mean we can’t expect some dope shit, but yea, we’ll never get an era that produces so many hiphop defining albums.

But this happens to EVERY form of music. Happened to jazz after the white washing, happened to rock and R&B after the mid-70’s, happened to hiphop after Hard Knock Life. I’m just glad I was around for some of the classic shit.

Dude, I’m not over the Cowboys game and I don’t think I ever will be LOL! That shit was classic. As for momentum, absolutely but I’m trying to keep it a tad bit humble because this team knows how to lose it. But something about this team and how we pulled this playoff spot out tells me there is something in the air ala The Phils.

Wait a minute I’m mistaken…the Eminem Show was alright, Encore was the one that I threw away. That shit insulted me. It was his same wack ass album formula, like Eminem Show updated.

Song about Haley, classic rock remake, song about Kim, corny as fuck radio track, etc etc etc

    ^^^

yeah thats my complaint with most of his albums and his career. Shit is a never ending cycle…he better come with some real serious old school Em flows and subject matter, and get real deep with the Proof situation, and get some just dope Hip Hop beats…Preemo, etc.

if not then I’m just gonna skip over this next album.

same damn stale formula…its like dog you got money, fame, respect is decent (could be better if he just straight up Went In and killed some tracks)…just make some good music and stop pleasing the Interscope Machine with those stupid corny poppy singles…every single album he had, I have hated all his “pop rap hit singles”…

biologically, getting pussy is #1 because we are wired to spread our seed as much as possible.

which is also why monogamy inherently goes against human nature. so when a nigga cheats and says “i couldn’t help myself”, it’s legitimate.

So, Nellyville, and Pain Is Love are some of the best hiphop albums of the 2K’s? When was it ever stated that the only qualification was influence?
