.. some of their clothes used to be dope but it’s corny to me now, I always hated their shoes they were just shiny/colorful air force one knock offs …
^^^
i blame soulja boy for that (yeah that’s right, i mentioned the dude)… but for real, they have an original look on clothing that EVERY BRAND started doing after them, which is why they stay on top for me in that sense, i don’t rock Bape like i used to, but you can’t deny the influence it still has on the organized chaotic patterns on hoodies and tees
nah es, that’s not historically correct. a bombing campaign of this level of severity – which is following weeks of choking off all food and medical supplies from entering gaza – is without precedent. so let’s deal with facts, this is outside of the norm even for israel. with respect to ronsenturd, do i expect him to “take my side”? sure. because i don’t have the “fuck all israelis, fuck israel” view. i have the “let’s give palestinians a state of their own” view — a view that is supposedly shared by israel and by even george w. bush. what i expect in this situation is for people who claim to be politically minded to not ignore the situation and to say something, anything. you tend to avoid politics and stick to music so i obvi wouldn’t expect u to take a position. but rosenberg? oh c’mon. dude loves politics, and he’s probably been obsessively keeping up with the news over there because he’s jewish and he has a vested interest. is it too much for me to expect him to say something about the situation? i don’t see why it is, but it’s his prerogative. to your final point about media coverage, don’t get me started. the message by the US MSM is outlandishly one-sided to the point of being useless. even the israeli media is more fair and balanced.

you lose if you wear one of those arab money scarfs with it
^^^
i swear those scarves wasn’t hot ’til 9/11 popped off and you seen arabs rocking them on t.v. whenever they talked about the middle east & terrorism.
those scarves are a staple amongst pious, devout muslims.
but hip-hop turned them into a fad.
>>nah es, that’s not historically correct. a bombing campaign of this level of severity – which is following weeks of choking off all food and medical supplies from entering gaza – is without precedent.
yeah, true, but let’s be serious, we live in the West and the U.S. is gonna rock with Israel, you know that. like 60-70% of this country has been protesting the war in iraq for the last 5 years and what has that gotten anybody?
>>what i expect in this situation is for people who claim to be politically minded to not ignore the situation and to say something, anything.
see above. there are plenty of people saying shit, as they should, but Israel is gonna do what the fuck they want. hopefully the new administration will show some balls, but we’ll have to wait and see.
>>but rosenberg? oh c’mon. dude loves politics, and he’s probably been obsessively keeping up with the news over there because he’s jewish and he has a vested interest. is it too much for me to expect him to say something about the situation?
^no, its not, but the shit just popped off over the weekend, and again, you don’t listen to his show everyday so you don’t know if he has said something and you’re acting emotional right now like you really expected to see a Youtubed rant from him first thing Monday morning.
I don’t really understand what you’re whining about. Israel is pulling the same shit they’ve been pulling for the last 20 years. the media is reporting it like they always do. one group of people feel one way and the other feels another. what do you expect them to do, take your side? as for Rosenberg, what do you expect him to do, make a fucking Youtube video condemming Israel? get over it dude, this shit’s been going on for generations.
====================
shit israel has some of the most advanced weapons in the world, they think with brute force they can end the violence. This morning i saw the ambassador to israel make excuses like “we are just doing it cause they did it first”
@ rosenberg, you also got to realize he has bosses who if they haven’t already would probably tell him to stay away from said subject, don’t bite the hand that feeds you
why is rosenberg the token jew all of a sudden whos comment is valued. To be honest that dude is ass backwards about a lot of shit, but bless his heart hes trying.

Oh yea and i just want to thorw this out there real quick, there is absolutely no way that Ransom is better then Joe Budden on any level of music, nothing never ever. I mean if you just rather listen to Ran yea thats kool but even then your a lame and should consider taking shots of amonia (no shots). Ran is dope but Joey is on another level. Thank for your time.
I think Joey should consider doing another joint over a Coldplay song for MM4, just my sentiments. Ummm maybe like “Clocks” or something….would be dope IMO.

lol, im a Ran fan aswell but like you can’t compare. Even for the people that say P & G 2 > HWH i give that a no-sign because yes ran had a number of dope joints on there but the actual quality of music can’t be compared. HWH had some fillers but the real dope songs are classic Buddens are fucking insane. Songs like “Sidetracked” “Under The Sun” “Just To Be Different” “Better Me” “Slaughterhouse” “The Soul” “Go to Hell” >> P & G 2 easily. The song content are on different levels, period.

^Nah, it isn’t your hearing. RZA recorded most of those songs with no budget in the basement of somebody’s crib so the quality is rugged and raw. And after it was he figured that the distorted audio added to the grimeyness of the album. But it’s about to be ’09. As much I appreciated that “creativity” back then, I wanna hear somethin’ crisp.
but Nas is better than every other rapper before and after him simply for I Gave You Power
***So what’s a better song “I Gave You Power”, or “Me and My Girlfriend”…same concept, pretty much- a gun as an sentient…you can even add “Stray Bullet” (Organized Konfusion) into the mix…I’m a well documented Nas stan, so my answer is clear….

ATLANTA, Dec. 29 (UPI) — The heirs of slain U.S. civil rights leader Martin Luther King say there’s not much they can do about a white supremacist group’s use of “martinlutherking.org.”
The Web site, which is among the highest-ranked results for Google search engine queries on King’s name, is operated by the white supremacist group Stormfront, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Monday.
The group devotes the Web site’s pages to rehashing allegations of plagiarism and adultery and accuses King of fraud, claiming he was not a “legitimate reverend” or “bona fide Ph.D.” The newspaper says the site also urges visitors to learn about civil rights by reading the work of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.
Isaac Newton Farris Jr., King’s nephew and head of the non-profit King Center in Atlanta, told the newspaper that free speech guarantees allow Stormfront to use say what it pleases about King, as long as it doesn’t use his name in Web site address, which it avoids by not using “Jr.”
“You can’t stop people from having opinions,” Farris said. “If people think my uncle was adulterous and didn’t have a Ph.D., we can’t do anything about that.”

Day n Nite is ill but it wasnt poppin until Jimmy fucked with it.
I mean I dont fuck it that Hipster shit, but you could say current ear for hip hop leans more towards the backpack shit, but this aint it. Isn’t even backpack hip hop.
Look Skateboard P was/is a nerd (in the sense of the word) that just happened to be gifted when it came to music PERIOD!
Lupe is a cool nerd that just happens to be a mean MC. That kid is just MAD nice with it.
But Kid Cudi!!!! Okay he can sing good (no Auto-tune), but lets face it. Isn’t he just a DWEEB thats puts lots of different music together (which is all good) but then calls it ‘Hip Hop’ just to seem ‘Cool’.

^^^
i blame soulja boy for that (yeah that’s right, i mentioned the dude)… but for real, they have an original look on clothing that EVERY BRAND started doing after them, which is why they stay on top for me in that sense, i don’t rock Bape like i used to, but you can’t deny the influence it still has on the organized chaotic patterns on hoodies and tees

nah es, that’s not historically correct. a bombing campaign of this level of severity – which is following weeks of choking off all food and medical supplies from entering gaza – is without precedent. so let’s deal with facts, this is outside of the norm even for israel. with respect to ronsenturd, do i expect him to “take my side”? sure. because i don’t have the “fuck all israelis, fuck israel” view. i have the “let’s give palestinians a state of their own” view — a view that is supposedly shared by israel and by even george w. bush. what i expect in this situation is for people who claim to be politically minded to not ignore the situation and to say something, anything. you tend to avoid politics and stick to music so i obvi wouldn’t expect u to take a position. but rosenberg? oh c’mon. dude loves politics, and he’s probably been obsessively keeping up with the news over there because he’s jewish and he has a vested interest. is it too much for me to expect him to say something about the situation? i don’t see why it is, but it’s his prerogative. to your final point about media coverage, don’t get me started. the message by the US MSM is outlandishly one-sided to the point of being useless. even the israeli media is more fair and balanced.

>>nah es, that’s not historically correct. a bombing campaign of this level of severity – which is following weeks of choking off all food and medical supplies from entering gaza – is without precedent.
yeah, true, but let’s be serious, we live in the West and the U.S. is gonna rock with Israel, you know that. like 60-70% of this country has been protesting the war in iraq for the last 5 years and what has that gotten anybody?
>>what i expect in this situation is for people who claim to be politically minded to not ignore the situation and to say something, anything.
see above. there are plenty of people saying shit, as they should, but Israel is gonna do what the fuck they want. hopefully the new administration will show some balls, but we’ll have to wait and see.
>>but rosenberg? oh c’mon. dude loves politics, and he’s probably been obsessively keeping up with the news over there because he’s jewish and he has a vested interest. is it too much for me to expect him to say something about the situation?
^no, its not, but the shit just popped off over the weekend, and again, you don’t listen to his show everyday so you don’t know if he has said something and you’re acting emotional right now like you really expected to see a Youtubed rant from him first thing Monday morning.
December 30th, 2008 at 1:34 am
I don’t really understand what you’re whining about. Israel is pulling the same shit they’ve been pulling for the last 20 years. the media is reporting it like they always do. one group of people feel one way and the other feels another. what do you expect them to do, take your side? as for Rosenberg, what do you expect him to do, make a fucking Youtube video condemming Israel? get over it dude, this shit’s been going on for generations.
====================
shit israel has some of the most advanced weapons in the world, they think with brute force they can end the violence. This morning i saw the ambassador to israel make excuses like “we are just doing it cause they did it first”
December 30th, 2008 at 1:35 am

lol, im a Ran fan aswell but like you can’t compare.

December 30th, 2008 at 10:06 am
SMH @:

I don’t want none of my peeps caught up in none of my beef

Praying no car speeds by for me to crash to

^Remember how the show first started out though? It was Free & AJ (my manz went to Howard with AJ and still calls him Albert, lol) and the crowd was mostly 21+. I can almost guarantee that faggot ass Stephen Hill was the one who changed the format of the show. Word to DBrad.
You know Stephen Hill is the one who called Maxwell to perform at the BET Awards during the Al Green segment, right? As sort of a career revival thing. Nothing wrong with that, but the fact that Stephen got Maxwell’s number on speed dial says a lot.

^Yup, that was the incident. And then 50, probably around a year later, was mad at Nas for not telling him that he was gonna be on the song with J. Lo after Irv Gotti made calls to get 50 taken off of the song. I liked Nas’ verse, but I think 50′s would’ve been better simply because he was hungry and new to the game.

Look I’m a Hip Hop fan….So I listen to Hip Hop wherever it’s from. If its HomeGrown UK Hip Hop (and good) i’ll listen to it, even cop it.
Ifs its American and good (SEE: Lupe Fiasco, NaS, Black Milk, Young Jeezy, Boogie Down Productions etc.) i’ll listen to it, even cop it.
I dont care where its from if its good, its good!
BUT………..BUT
“…This Shit right here….Nigga….This right here”
NAhhhhh Not so much. Never….
If this an example of Cleveland Hip Hop, then fuck Cleveland Hip Hop.
Actually i’ll take that back…Cleveland still has: Hi-Tek & Ray Cash.
Dont get me wrong, I just don’t get the hype around this guy. Hes like a fake Lupe. Jim Jones made he’s shit pop.
