I was having an argument with someone about whether or not KRS could beat Joe Budden in a battle. I said no because despite the amount of work KRS has put in the game he’s not the same MC he was when he dropped Criminal Minded. anyone who’s heard ANY of his recent shit could easily see that.
the other dude, who hasn’t heard a KRS joint since like 1999, could only argue that KRS is a legend. had nothing to say about KRS’s skills as an MC today compared to others. just “he’s a legend, he’s a pioneer. everyone should slob his knob and pay respect, young niggas don’t know shit”
some of these old heads out here are so attached to their “pioneers” they scared to acknowledge that their favorite rappers fall off like anyone else.
