Weekly freestyle series’- No other internet marketing/promotion effort could spell “Will Rap For Food” or “I Need To Get My Buzz Up Really Bad” more than the weekly freestyle series. When Crooked I did it, for that little moment in time, it helped. When Mickey Factz did it, I said ok I don’t know who the fuck this guy is, but after the 7th one I finally checked him out. That’s cool. But it aint gonna make you a superstar. When I say “from our area”, I’m saying that its clear labels arent down here daily trying to sign niggas. If they do, said artist is going to have to go a little left in terms of content to get on, I think. I understand the streets are a part of you and all that jazz, but humor is obviously part of you too, and I think you’d be smart (if you’re really trying to get on) to utilize it more.
