Eddy Curry was being touted the next Shaquille O’Neal when he entered the NBA. It was an unfair label and one that the Knicks’ center has been unable to live up to.
“He hasn’t come close,” O’Neal says. “I don’t want to say anything that is going to hurt his feelings, but I don’t know what is going on with him. In this league, when you’re touted as something and in your mind you don’t think you’re that, then you either got to put up numbers or you got to play the game.”

*this day is turning out better than expected*
I remember when I met Jimmy at Ray`s Pizza (50th street and 8th)about 2 years ago.I told him I made tracks,he gave me his number, but I tried to go based on memory. It was raining hard, and I was drunk with my man.I bought a slice to soak up the liquor.I wound up going to the BX to see this chick.Needless to say,I forgot the fucking number.what`s really fucked up about it was that Jimmy was really DOWN TO EARTH in person.I lose………….but for some reason I`m not gutted.Money is good, but I would work for FREE for Royce,Elzhi,Nametag,or any other emcee I
actually listen to regularly.Jimmy was cool though.Very approachable.

Weekly freestyle series’- No other internet marketing/promotion effort could spell “Will Rap For Food” or “I Need To Get My Buzz Up Really Bad” more than the weekly freestyle series. When Crooked I did it, for that little moment in time, it helped. When Mickey Factz did it, I said ok I don’t know who the fuck this guy is, but after the 7th one I finally checked him out. Now we’re flooded with these shits. Walking blogs? Soon we’ll have an artist posting videos of himself on a toilet bowl rapping about taking a shit. Remy Ma walking into jail. Now that’s a walking blog worth watching.

^Sadly in real life. I won’t speak on what I do, but i’m in the game, it’s not that unusual, I don’t see why it would be, just cause I be on this site? I belive everything digi say he do, just cause you in the streets don’t mean your stupid or have no knowledge of what’s going on, I just took a loss recently, but that shit isnt what I wanna revolve my life around on this site, I don’t even rap gangster if you listen, I just hold a mirror towards the struggle me & my fam go threw

1) Featuring Lil Wayne, Akon or T-Pain on your song- I have a love/hate relationship with the music of all three of these artists, but having either of them on your song couldn’t be any less interesting. They may yield you some attention for about 3 days, but they will not yield you a career. And how are you going to perform your song if Lil Wayne can’t make it to your show to do it with you? Come on. This is just stupid at this point. Be original. Find someone new, or shit, go back to using Nate Dogg on every hook. The only time I want to hear these dudes from now on is when a) they are on their own records and b) I am reaaaally drunk.

It didnt make me see you different per se, it was just hilarious to read. And I think itd be a good look to incorporate more of your humor into your rhymes.

That’s cool. But it aint gonna make you a superstar. When I say “from our area”, I’m saying that its clear labels arent down here daily trying to sign niggas. If they do, said artist is going to have to go a little left in terms of content to get on, I think. I understand the streets are a part of you and all that jazz, but humor is obviously part of you too, and I think you’d be smart (if you’re really trying to get on) to utilize it more.
