The first time I witness some knocked out was when I was 11…..dude was the oldest out the group so we all looked up to him until……we went to a gas station where he saw someone he had beef with…..and boom….the other guy knocked the shit out of him…..dude froze like a statue and fell….head cracked on the pavement….we were all shocked…..and the guy jumped in the whip and drove off…..man what a night….

Fighting began Friday between supporters of the region’s two main political parties following the first local election in the town of Jos in more than a decade. The violence expanded along ethnic and religious lines, with Hausa Muslims and members of Christian ethnic groups doing battle.
The violence is the worst in Nigeria since 2004, when as many as 700 people died in Plateau State during Christian-Muslim clashes.

Jos, the capital of Plateau State, has a long history of community violence that has made it difficult to organize voting. Rioting in September 2001 killed more than 1,000 people.

Of course african people/countries have their own problems. Especially now, I think them ninjas should have started to catch up. But India and China just started catching up recently also.

I dont see this sell out your own idea though. Africa is not just one peoples. Each country in Africa has several tribes that consider themselves just as different as a hispanic dude and a black dude. they were from different kingdoms that jokeyed for territory. The three main tribes in Nigeria: hausa yoruba and igbo are very different people that came from different lineage or migrations, even though they are all black. Their cultures are different and they even look different.

It had nothing to do with the actual beliefs per se, just that the system was their means of power and by letting people dissent, that power would lessen. I’m of the firm belief that the highest ranks of the church don’t belive in that shit they sell. It’s just a means to consolidate power. On the other hand, I do believe that those particular cultures really did think that twin babies were evil. The Catholic Church is political not religous.
