@ eng – mark my words, 2009 will be a bloodbath and there will barely be a recovery in sight until Q2 2010. i can’t see the US economy emerging from what promises to be a protracted recession until there is further bloodletting in the financial and real estate sectors and heavy cutbacks in manufacturing. and don’t expect a global recovery until at least the US recovers because we all know the S&P is basically the peg for all the other indices
