    1 – take a shower in lukewarm water (not too hot or the skin will swell above the level of the hair follicle and promote in-grown hairs; not too cold or the pores will close)
    2 – while still damp, apply shave gel liberally rubbing it in to produce a thick, protective lather
    3 – use a brand new or close to brand new mach 3 razor going carefully against the grain. use short strokes, rinse blade thoroughly, and re-apply shave gel as necessary

    follow these steps and come back to me and tell me this shit didn’t work

    ^Fail, fail and FAIL. You tryin’ to tell me that Black men haven’t tried this technique already? I’ve personally done everything imaginable and each time I had to use an astringent to prevent any type of Craig Mack appearance from forming. If you can use a razor with no side effects then you are:

    a.) not Black

    OR

    b.) don’t have the (9-Ether) type of hair I’m referring to, which coils and induces hair bumps

    i would avoid baby oil. it clogs and irritates pores so that even if you avoid in-grown hairs, you might be promoting blemishes. go with a non-camedogenic alternative that rinses completely and doesn’t leave residue in the pores.
