   Daps g7. I still haven’t heard 808′s and I really don’t plan on listening for awhile. I’m trying to deprogram myself…if you will. So I’m listening to music that came out 3-9 months ago. (Funny thing is I’m catching up by listening to music that leaked months ago.) Infused with what I consider golden era 94-98. To include Illmatic for obvius reasons. And less nah right. Shit conditions you to speak half truths, seeing how most of what you read here is just that. No disrespect esk, but you read these pages, you know.

    Well my friend, what I want or mean to say is there is an abundance of music from artist I like and dislike unfortunately…and my friend..there’s just too much of it. Most times I don’t even download music from the people I like…and it’s like this my friend because you know tomorrow they’ll have another mixtape/song out. So my friend, I just end up overwhelmed…or just waiting on that one great mixtape to get them all together and…

    I so lost my train of thought fucking around…lol.

    This is eskay’s blog. Check. It is a reflection of what he likes and deems quality hip hop. Check. I don’t like nor agree with everything eskay likes or post. Fact. I do agree with most. Fact. This is the main source of hip hop now, so is eskay shaping hip hop? I would guess so. The comments are an vital cog of the blog. Fact.

    There’s a quality/ quantity issue here. Maybe. You add that in with a lot of the commentors being so far off base or just outright lying. Music that isn’t that good and people who are typing stuff just because. Even the derogatory comments aren’t even good (

    LOL! I understand. That kinda coincides with what ‘Face was talkin bout as far as it being more product than there is customers right now as far as in the rap game. It’s just so much music that it’s hard to stay up on what your favorite artists got out there.

    Back in the day it used to be just buying that artist’s new CD, single, or whatever. It wasn’t all these mixtapes and miscellaneous songs released for download on the the internet to keep up with. Am I on the right track?

It would appear as though you have idiots shaping the opinions of idiots. It’s like the bush administration. Not saying eskay’s an idiot, I’m saying he’ll post something that no one will listen too(not his fault…maybe) and to coincide with that they read the comments who are destroying him or her with out even listening. These comments then becomes the opinion for what I imagine is a lot folk. Which isn’t his fault, but somebodies to blame. Somebody always is.

    I’m removing myself from that or trying. It still is quite entertaining.
