This venue is right on the boardwalk to the beach…it’s a wackass spot I don’t even know why Red & Mef were there. i agree with chea on this one, no one would approve of this CD. i’m not from chi but prior to this CD i like pretty much ever song that kanye made. after i heard 808s i had to listen to the whole entire Graduation CD to try to remind myself why i liked Kanye in the first place. quest you’re trippin’ man. I listen to all sorts of shit. 808’s is just not that good, and it’s not because he’s talking about love. It’s because the songwriting isn’t all that, the autotune is terrible. This is the classic case of an artist doing a little too much coke and feeling himself a little too much. If he cared about the quality of the music, he could have kept songwriting credits and hired real singers to carry out the tracks. I don’t know man…I love the Love Below, Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz, Electric Circus; and I listen to all sorts of other shit too. This album isn’t doing it. Hopefully he’s gotten all this shit out of his system and we’ll look back on this like we look at that Jay-Z/RKelly album when we look at his discography.
