I only watched part 1, but Kent makes some good points. For example, I remember when I first met J*DaVey. They aint have a nare album out and they were doing tours based off of the rave reviews they were gettin’ on the Internet. Then they (technically, me) would sell their EP’s at the show and they did pretty good in sales. They got their buzz up and had people like Gwen Stefani tryin’ to put ‘em on before they inked with Warner (and from what I heard it was the same dude over there that signed Wiz Khalifa). Unfortunately, many people have copied and jacked their swag and are gettin’ bigger buzzes while Warner execs scratch their heads because they don’t know the fuck they’re doing. A Black alternative group was destined to happen. But digressing, I agree that Charles got signed to ‘Scope outta nowhere yet he has dropped about 6 mixtapes and not a nare single.

I greatly respect what Clark Kent has to offer concerning the rise of the industry…I think that the computer is just the way the world is going and before you had people that werent computer saavy and now it is a requirement…For the artist that markets this way and the I phone touch you can combine the best of both worlds…If U know how to work it…Alot of the most successful artists of today feel the frustration of this fact but as with all facts …It is what it is…On politics to be able to teach and inspire is the greatest reason for wanting to persue lyrical artistry…You look at the state of the world and instead of being a complainer…You become an instrument in its solution..Not in its totality but as far as those that share your individual viewpoint…every individual represents a collective and that is the basis of a fan base….
