just to give you niggas a quick piece of personal training advice. . .
if you wanna lose weight, you gotta traing your legs, but stick to the basics. this means squats and lunges. but do different variations.
your legs are the largest muscle groups in your body, so if you work them, you’ll burn more calories than, say, doing push ups or pull ups like nore.
and if you wanna lose weight, skip the cardio. not completely, but don’t rely on it. . . it’s gonna take you longer than if you focus on resistance training.

here’s the logic behind it:
resistance training (or lifting weights) is like killing two birds w/ one stone. first, you’re burning calories by breaking the muscles down and having them rebuild themselves into lean muscle. . . .
then, with your new lean muscle, you’re speeding up your metabolism, which is basically the amount of calories you burn at rest to run your internal organs.
cardio is supposed to train your cardiorespiratory system, which improves the efficiency of your heart (so you don’t get tired quickly, etc, etc) you will lose weight by doing cardio b/c your heart is getting a workout and calories are the fuel to run your internal organs, but just not as much as resistance training.

They was throwing up those barbells and then decided to wane themselves off of the weights and maintain their physique with calisthenics. Cals only allows you to exert as much resistance as you weigh. You’re gonna peak quicker than what you expect. Weights forces you to break down and rebuild new muscle tissue.

now, if you’re eating healthy, you actually wanna eat MORE. . . it’ll help speed up your metabolism, too, b/c breaking food down into nutrients requires calories, so eating burns calories!
that’s what personal trainers mean when we say the word “diet”. it’s not some crash diet where you can only drink water and cayenne pepper for a week. those celebrity diets don’t work. dieting is watching your calories, and putting a limit on how many you take in a day versus how many you burn a day
