    i mean i remember looking at their roster and just dying a little. dmx, eve, drag-on, parle, shit they scooped jin, i mean for a minute they had like a 30-artist stable, shit was just silly

    these artists/mangagers lose all sense of scale when they get successful, they think they can build the next interscope. and of course they fail every time

    ^all labels do it because music is so inexact. the only way to make sure you might have a hit on the charts all the time is to have a lot of artists producing all the time. if you are lucky 1 out of the 50 will be a hit maker

    @ mr. pap — really tho? at least g-unit has a policy of testing people out for a year or two, which is very smart business-wise. on the other hand “yung won” has been signed to ruff ryders since i was a freshman in college and i think he’s dropped maybe two songs — that’s a one song every five year average (c) camel mafmatics
