I’m posting this because dude weaves a nice story about the neighborhood that spawned him, and actually walks you through it rather than just standing in front of the ‘jects with the goonies looking tough. I’m also a sucker for almost anything NY centric. Watch it or don’t.

I don’t confine my self to one genre of music or a certain form of hip hop for that matter, if it sounds good then im rocking with it (pun intended). Music can be therapeutic, while the lyrics and or flow of a song can by mediocre the beat can be captivating and infectious. It can be interpreted or utilized in different ways. Like Rigz said before music connects with people on different levels according to their personality. Its all subjective.

you’re speaking to someone who highly backed Gnarles Barkley when they first came around and people were saying they were wack… i listen to more then hip hop… i jsut think this album is trash, so far the only songs i like are Amazing and Heartless… everything else has been ass, like serious ass… i believe Kanye’s in pain, because it hurt’s my ears to listen to that shit!!!
I’ll listen to John Mayer if i want something to reflect heartbreak… but kanye, mister “You should appreciate it cause i made it” has made something that will drift away when he comes out with another album where he gets back to his roots… he should of named this album Water Under The Bridge… cause that’s what it’ll be

I dont give a fuck about Kanye on the personal level and I think College Dropout is a classic. But I have to listen to his album in its entirety to have an idea where he is going with this. That being said I havent completely disliked or liked the ish he has dropped since Love Lockdown. There is alot of ish that I think is hotter right now as far as hip-hop. Now as far as Pop I dont think ish is hotter than Yeezy or T-Pain
