   thats my main point…I know he takes a minute to come out with a track but how fast you shove out a product or how much you put out doesn’t make you a great lyricist…Just because he doesn’t release 5 mixtapes a month and a weekly freestyle doesn’t take anything away in the technical aspect of being a lyricist

   Just because Joell, Joey, Royce, and Charles are releasing steady tracks/freestyles/etc etc doesn’t make them anymore or a better lyricist than a person that takes they time and works of stuff at they own pace…

   anyways…

    Jay Z got all u listeners gassed (most of whom dont really understand MAKING music – not specifically ATCQ, jus sayin), thinking if a dude cant one take a verse or write shit on demand he aint a lyricist. Shits sad man

    Everybody has their own speed/technique to writing

    Ghostface said it literally took him MONTHS to write “Underwater” and alot of his other concept tracks…Does that mean it aint lyrical??

    Large Professor said Illmatic wasnt written in no quick process, does that mean Illmatic aint lyrical either??

    Swiftness & lyricism is not the same thing fam
