The bottom line is this, these artists and entertainers are people just like you and I. Some are emotional, some are irrational, some of misunderstood and some are just fucking weird. As long as they are good at what we pay them to do, which is entertain us, then who gives a fuck about what they believe or how macho they are. Just enjoy the entertainment and leave it at that.

sidenote : when I was an architect we did an addition on the house he lives bought in Jersey, I never met him because my boss always had to go to the house but I would always be like ask him some free clothes but that was when the shit was already falling off anyway and my boss wasn’t having it

I see where you’re coming (no) from. The beats are hectic and apocalyptic, while Raekwon is calm and deliberate. I think the contrast is what makes it great tho. It’s like calmest cat telling you his story while his world crumbles around him. Besides for Spotrusherz (even RZA said it wasnt mixed right), I think Cuban Linx is absolutely flawless.

Cuban Linx was a tight CD. Most people overlook the fact that it was a fucking compilation. All other Raekwon CD’s were whack. Rae was good for a 16 back then but his coke stories are kinda played now. Jay had better street tales in my opinion. Jay shit looked closer to real. After while you look kinda goofy with 90% drug rhymes and short money.
