Like, even up north they were just giving shorties buck fifties. I don’t condone that either, but at least she still got her life. Yeah the COMP situation is unfortunate. I think I was wayyyy too pumped about that verse simply because:

a.) he was the first to be signed on a major from B’more

b.) it was DefJam

c.) it was with Jada/Ghost

In retrospect, it was not a great verse. A decent one, mainly because I understood his style because he’s from home. But he definitely shoulda came with some stronger lines. Hence, why neither Jada, Ghost or any other DJ artist asked for a feature from him. His best work, imo, has been “Harder” (hell no) and “Coming 2 a City Near U”. His DJ, DNA, works with PCutta. Annnnd, I’ll keep it at that.

About comp, yeah man, the verse was decent, but that jada verse was top 5 16′ that year, & ghost is ghost no need to explain, I don’t care if it would’ve took me all day to make that 16, I would’ve took all day, I know it gotta be a bad feeling to hear “run” and know you was on the song & don’t hear ya verse. And “Harder” (n/h) was one of his best songs, I would rap over it, but I don’t wanna tamper with it, it wouldn’t be fair since he dropped it like 4 years ago, so his lyrics would sound dated if someone else hop on it (n/h) & I like it the way it is, maybe get the sample he got & switch it up some.

Lol, you know what it took me like 5 mins to decide who went in that 2nd spot but i think your right. Freeway is more lyrical and does have 2 crazy LP under his belt although Chris has made enough songs to gain niggas respect he has yet to drop a solo Lp but as far as straight Bars go you said it the best Free 2A and Chris 2B. Young Chris is still my dude though….
