My brother is a bitter old head in that came up on Moe Dee and G Rap. After finishing a 3 year bid in ‘98, I tried to put him on to It’s Dark and Hell, Hard Knock Life, Aquemini, Black Star and a couple other joints. He said they all sucked. He even said Moment of Truth was commercial.
Point is, like Rigz said, every year hiphop sucks and every year hiphop is dead. The only difference between ‘08 and ‘88 is that there’s less of the dope shit on TV/radio. But the internet is quickly evening that playing field.
