as retarded as it might sound I gotta say yeah ..Nas has a crazy extensive body of work *pause* and has def given tons of food for thought but to me Pusha T is just a better MC on consistency alone.
as far as Em > Pusha, I can’t really say that until Eminem puts out some more material cause his first one showed his technical skills, his second (and best) matched that skill set with talking about real shit and vented frustrations. then his third and fourth album were weed plates. I’m not denying he’s not nice but Pusha puts more time in to what he says and doesn’t have nearly as manu disposable verses as Em does (and be real, Em has a shite load of throw away joints)
Oh come on……Pusha T? No classics albums or songs (maybe Grindin’)…..countless album flops…..no numbers to back shit up…..no quotable lines….no solo album to prove himself…..nothing….
I had to talk to the wifey for a second niggas
but back to it
Doing number is a moot point because you can’t base greatness on how many people buy the album. for what it’s worth both Nas and Pusha have two highly acclaimed albums, only difference is Nas has a whole fuckin grip of albums and Pusha only has 2. and while we are talking about 2 rappers with two completely different, but crazy, skill sets Nas just doesn’t match up on paper to me. The only SMH moment I seen with Pusha was that first single off the Kock ReUp album.
and still Em is a beast, and plenty of games have been one off of technicalities but if you take away Em’s ability to rap about random acts of violence his material is pretty weak.
*waits for someone to bring up the fact that all pusha talks about is coke*

Lol @ terrence
terrence is more entertaining. NOt as thought provoking and not as technically gifted, but Id rather listen to Terrence than Gnoz.
