**That’s definitely a good start- and it’s definitely a good strategy to alternate speeds, on some interval shit…I’m trying to recapture the glory of last year, by going back to my old regimen-it’s hard to make time for it, but I can knock out 6 miles, easy- I used to do 10, but that shit was overkill,and too time consuming- I’mma be unstoppable by next spring, though- might even try to run a marathon…

***that’s not bad- what was the recommended speed in high school gym class for a mile, like 10 minutes or some shit, right? you can prolly kick it up a notch, though, if you’re not a smoker—I run at a moderate pace, and I can knock out about 6.5 in an hour, but if you’re just starting, you can incrementally build…like, 1st it’s 2 miles, then it’s 2 and a quarter, etc…I alternate between running outside and a treadmill at the crib, to break up the monotony- when I run outside, I pick out an old album i haven’t revisited in a while, or a new jawn I wanna check out, and just zone out- when I run inside, i watch Entourage or Dexter, and focus on that shit—the hardest part about running outside is not turning your head and tripping over some uneven sidewalk whenever some jogging white girl in short shorts runs buy you….
