Video: Young Chris Announces 30 Verses 30 Days
I know I praised a couple of people in my URB interview for embarking on similar missions, but is releasing a new freestyle every week/day/hour/minute still what’s hot in the streets?

Today, Brooklynite Skyzoo—who built his buzz on the web—says, “So ya’ll can go and type what ya’ll like/Comments is comments, I rather go and surf through Nah Right.”

Well the question was framed in a rhetorical manner….you’re suggesting by the question you posed that releasing a freestyle weekly/monthly out of style now…..But you just came off doing it…

I didn’t come off doing anything, because I don’t rap.
I guess what I’m saying is, once 5 people do it, isn’t it time to switch up and try something new.
Don’t get me wrong, I still respect any artist with a work ethic that allows them to release music on that kind of scale, and I appreciate free music, I just think it’s getting out of hand now.

I’d like to announce my new campaign…
I’m gonna drop three albums all hosted by Jeff & Eric from the Real every 15 minutes.
and then every week I’m gonna drop an LP/Vinyl greatest hits compilation.
All to prepare for my debut on Interscope, that’s gonna come out in 2010 and sell 30,000 copies.

I’d prefer that dudes take the time to put together 5 polished tracks then 30 slapped together verses… I love a tight verse or free, but quality over quantity mang..
