   in what aspect…..lyricaly, beatwise, content…..the product of the 80’s is better beat wise…even though p experimented more content wise on hnic 2….but let let be real the main reason u listen 2 p is beacuse his beat selection is one the greatest….lyrically if you heard one p album u heard em all and that real talk

   On the subject of Trendsetter P, was it just me or was Put ‘Em In Their Place the most underrated cut of the year when it came out? That beat was hella grimy.

   No-sign. HNIC 2 had a little more going on in terms of content (no real concepts on PoT80s), but Product of the 80′s just SOUNDS better. This is after 2 listens.

    No-sign. By that token, I could say the same about Jay. Their worldview never changes, but times do, and with that, the music sounds different, even if they’re really not offering anythign “new” lyrically.

    One of the best hiphop album cuts of all time. And when I say all time, I mean top 50. Everybody knows Deck destroyed it, but Guru’s verse is also incredible. It’s kind of like “Verbal Intercourse”, where one verse is so dope (Nas/Deck), you kind of overlook how dope the other verse is (Ghost/Guru).

    no…. what draws people into jay so much is the fact he’s like a story teller…if you really listen to his albums he basically telling you what happened the previous or the year leading to now….so no u cant say that about jay cause no one live the same exact year twice….so u can exclude jay out that list…now p on the other hand has grown lyrically and content wise see: real power is people and illmunati ……but it naturally p rap about the same shit how i”ll cut u up and shoot u in the most grimey way possible…i must admit i do enjoy listening to it…he does rap about the same shit

    I’ve been listening to Statik’s new album for the past week, and it’s hands down one of the best of the year. The State Property joint is fire.
