I’ve been saying for years to my people that the next phase of Black music (for better or was) was going to utilize House music-esque tempos and rock type instuments. I didn’t by myself a new pair of kicks since june, I feel like i’m abusing myself or something, but I buy like 3 pair around the same time so it evens out with the time span of me not buying any new sneakers, but i’m so stacked, I could make it to new years & no one would notice, I seen some young kid down L.Market aka ugg ville with the old penny hardaway shoes that I had in middle school those was the first 100+ dollar pair of sneakers moms ever brought a negro, and I swore whenever they come back out I was gonna get em, to kinda reflect on the past & how I use to dream for the day I could buy my own stuff, now I can buy my own stuff & it’s not all that’s it’s cracked up to be, lol
^My manz that I was at Babalu’s with was JUST talkin’ about his connect at Foot Locker is giving the 50% off deal. I don’t remember what they look like but I remember they were cut big and I don’t like big ass kicks.
As for me, my shoe binge has ceased dramatically. I’m a stickler for old school kicks (which most of yall don’t rock) so I can roll up in a store and catch some odd color Dunks, Adidas Forums, Bo Jacksons, Vandals, etc. for DIRT cheap. I peeped a pair of Vandals for dirt cheap the other day that I might just have to cop.
