He also made a point to emphasize that it won’t be Tha Carter IV… and to keep corniness at a minimum, let’s not call it 3.5 either.
The Jay Arra also mentioned that he’ll be having a junya in a few days.

Good point, I think it has more to do with the resistance that Charles Hamilton received when he first started getting buzz than one artist being better than the other. I think people had low/no expectations for Charles and when he actually made some really, really good music it surprised most people. People got caught up in the pink and sonic fetishes and got caught off guard when he came with some heat. By the way he produced all of the tracks on It’s Charles Hamilton….wow
